Sarah Thorpe

Sarah has been involved in the management of SSPT since 2003 and oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the clinic. Sarah has more than 15 years of international management consulting experience, with focus on strategic planning and business development. Sarah believes the key to SSPT's success is simple: Provide the highest quality of comprehensive physical therapy care for our patients.

Sarah sees physical therapy as one aspect of an integrated approach to health care, which takes into account a patient's biological, psychological, and social well-being. She firmly believes that patients should be empowered to make their own healthcare decisions and remain involved in the management of their treatment. To that end, she believes that SSPT should provide staff every opportunity to educate themselves to help patients reach their potential.

As a former Australian National Open Swimming Champion and member of the Australian Open Swimming Team, Sarah understands the role that physical therapy can play in leading a healthy, active, injury-free life. She is active in community outreach activities, including serving as an athletic coach, a volunteer legal advocate for abused and neglected adolescents, and a volunteer respite foster parent.
