Inspired to become a physical therapist while working for the American Physical Therapy Association, Brian offers an invaluable perspective on the role of physical therapy in overall well-being. He takes pride in the relationships he develops with clients and enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and conditions.
Brian has completed several areas of advanced training, including his Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, focusing intensively on spinal assessment and treatment. He is certified in Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT), also known as trigger point dry needling.
Brian is a Level 1 USA Triathlon certified coach and incorporates these principles in treating triathletes in the clinic. He also has advanced training with EXOS (formerly known as Athlete's Performance) in Phoenix, Arizona, for transitioning athletes from rehabilitation to high-level individualized performance. His training and research background help Brian develop treatment plans that integrate the best available scientific evidence with his clinical expertise for the best possible outcome.
Brian completed his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and received his doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University.
